I am an auctioneer. I am a realtor. I am a mom, a daughter, a sister, and a wife.
So many people identify themselves by their career. My career is a part of who I am, but it’s not all of who I am. I am more than my job.
I love my career as…. an Auctioneer it was something I never inspired to be, it was just something that happened. After helping my dad out with his auction business my dad suggested that I go to auction school. I thought he was nuts, but I agreed to go, I was 33 years old when I went and I was the only female in my class of 16 at Western College of Auctioneering in Billings Mt. It was one of the best decisions I ever made.
I identify myself with … This is a hard one, but I would say all mom’s, and Entrepreneurs because I always knew I wanted to own my own business, just didn’t know in what. I have been self employed since 1994 and haven’t looked back.
When I leave this world, I’d like too be known for…. another difficult one, but I would say known for my smile, and my heart.
I love being able to… work with my husband, well most days! I love traveling and exploring new places and things.
I’m not so crazy about…. writing I have always felt I wasn’t good at it, I think it goes back to being in school knowing that grammar wasn’t and still isn’t one of my strengths.
Some of my most cherished memories include… the day my son was born, I knew it was no longer about me. I have so many more but that’s the first one to come to mind.
